Earl Henry Sholley
Sholley, 56, said he is running on a pro-marriage, pro-family
platform.
He has come out strongly against gay marriages and abortion.
A North Attleboro landscaper, Sholley contends that the state,
especially the Department of Social Services, interferes with private
family matters.
The courts, he said, are biased against men and overstep their bounds.
He said he is a victim of the state's excess. He has served time in
jail for violating his probation after being convicted of assaulting
his daughter, and again after he was charged with threatening an
assistant district attorney.
