Ten Commandments Backers Press for Federal Action |
Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com) - Defenders of the Ten Commandments are
optimistic that they will pass a bill in the House of Representatives this

You realize that if this moronic law passed that people like Judge Myron
Thompson would be likely to grant an immediate injunction to the same
plantiffs who objected to Moore's kabbah in the first place.

How is this bill NOT a direct violation of the wording of the first
amendment? Beyond question this time, Congress is making a law
respecting the establishment of religion.

Doesn't that make the sponsors of the bill technically guilty of
treason? Or is the deliberate attempt to overthrow the Constitution
not considered a treasonable offense?

Alas, they may guilty only of tremendous stupidity regarding the intent
of the First Amendment.

Sometimes God takes those closest to us, because it makes him feel
better about himself. He is a very vengeful God. He's all *****
about something we did thousands of years ago. He just can't get over
it, so he doesn't care who he takes. Children, puppies, it don't matter
to him, so long as it makes us sad...God gives us life and love and
help just so that he can tear it all away and make us cry, so he can
drink the sweet milk of our tears. You see, it's our tears that give
God his great power.

Once Canada gets a strong enough military to defend ourselves from the US
Army ("Gott Mit Uns" on their belt-buckles and everything), you won't
have to leave the continent.

Although I may be too old to fight, if things keep on going the way
they are going, I may be coming up before too long to volunteer.

Only problem is, at the rate things are going down here, Canada may have
to close its borders because of all the refugees...

In particular, it is giving special rights to certain religions.
Buddhists have a list of rules similar to the ten commandments, as do
muslims and many other religions. I wonder what these assholes will
think when they are forced to post the rules from Anton LeVay's satanic
bible :).

On 05 Sep 2003, Larry Mundinger <look.below@signature.org> screwed up
his face, groaned, pushed hard, and farted out the following message in
news:bjana0$h3lef$1@ID-184711.news.uni-berlin.de:
Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com) - Defenders of the Ten Commandments are

Interestingly enough, it appears that this act itself is a "law
respecting the establishment of religion", which would make it
unconstitutional -- but I guess the representatives in question are
conveniently ignoring that fact...
