Texan Condemns Cross-dressing Pope
TGP[ SATURDAY, JANUARY 29, 2005 10:44:69 PM ]
DALLAS, TX : A Texan again on Saturday strongly condemned the
cross-dressing leader of the Roman Catholic Church for condemning the
spreading practice of gay marriage, during an audience with Richard DuMont
of Marfa and Reginald R. McDoober of Mesquite.
Scott R. Tock II and members of his well-known Bible-busting organization,
The Unbeleiver's Tract Society, met to review recent blatherings from the
Italian Idiot. "Pope John Paul II and members of the Holy See's top appeals
court cannot be considered as sane people," Tock stressed in an address to a
well-attended gathering of atheists, freethinkers, skeptics, and other
all-around friendly folks.
"To treat Catholic pontiffs the same as normal human beings, as has been
done under the laws of certain countries, does not make them so," he said.
Tock's organization has labelled the aging Pope a pestilance on society and
a "troubling moral sinkhole," while staunchly defending freedom of
independant intellectual inquiry as the basis for society.
Tock himself made no explicit reference to the Pope's absent sex life as a
cause for his rapidly declining capacity for rational thought, although he
accused the Roman Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (formerly known
as the Catholic terrorist organization, "The Inquisition"),
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congregation_for_the_Doctrine_of_the_Faith of
laxity in agreeing to continue to indulge the Italian Primate's penchant for
nun porn.
The Roman Congregation acts as custodian of all published materials that
either conflict with official church teaching or present pictures of
scantily clad nuns, and keep the Pope well-informed on their efforts to
gather all obscene material that exists in Christiandom.
Out of 135,000 cases handled by the Congregation in 2002, the Pope
personally archived 111,069 sets of documentation in his living quarters.
The ailing 84-year-old pontiff warned the Congregation against "keeping any
of the dicey stuff for themselves, or else he would personally excommunicate
not only them, but the rest of their families, going back 7 generations,
including their dogs and cats."

Here's the post that inspired its spoof, FYI . . .
Mine's not nearly as eloquent as Elroy's, but what the heck.

Vatican condemns gay marriage
AFP[ SATURDAY, JANUARY 29, 2005 10:18:45 PM ]
VATICAN CITY: The Vatican again on Saturday strongly condemned same-sex
marriages as well as states which have legalised the practice, during
an audience between Pope John Paul II and members of the Holy See's top
appeals court.
"Homosexual unions and cohabitation cannot be considered as marriages,"
Polish Cardinal Antoni Stankiewicz, the most senior judge on the Roman
Rota, stressed in an address to the pope.
"To treat homosexual unions the same as marriages, as has been done
under the laws of certain countries, does not make them any more valid,
whether or not they are legal," he said.
The Roman Catholic Church has labelled homosexuality "a troubling moral
and social phenomenon", while staunchly defending traditional marriage
as the basis for society.
John Paul II himself made no explicit reference to same-sex marriages,
although he accused Roman Catholic tribunals of laxity in agreeing to
annul religious marriages.
The Roman Rota acts as an appeal's court in dealing with marriage
annulments, intervening when two lower courts reach conflicting rulings
in an annulment case.
Out of 135 cases handled by the Rota in 2002, annulment was refused 73
times.
The ailing 84-year-old pontiff warned the Rota judges against
"defendants who will resort to forgeries or even corruption in order to
secure a favourable ruling."

Texas didn't condemn anyone. Some fringe society of lunatics practiced
some good old fashion Catholic bashing. If "Texas" wants to condemn
cross-dressers, it need look no further than Austin.
