Ken's attacks on alt.atheism

In addition to his bullying and harassment of women, Ken Pangborn
seems to have a serious grudge against various members of the atheism
newsgroup. For several years, the members of the newsgroup have found
themselves the victims of racist forgeries in their names, crossposted
to several newsgroups on the net. The forgeries typically have common
characteristics:

Crossposted to several different newsgroups, but almost always
including alt.atheism and alt.dads-rights.unmoderated.
The forgeries often occur shortly after the victim publicly disagrees
with Ken.
Ken almost always appears immediately after the forgeries, denying
blame and attempting to blame others.
March 7, 2005--alt.atheism forger accidentally posts under wrong name

Although he has denied the forgeries for years, Ken recently outted
himself as the forger in the following two posts:

March 7, 2005 through an anonymous remailer, a forgery attributed to
Mark K. Bilbo)

<tjhXd.77945$Dc.44771@trnddc06> (posted the following morning, eight
hours later, from Ken's own internet account at Verizon)

Both posts consist of the following text, complete with Ken's unique
writing style and trademark grammatical and spelling errors:

And yopu misspelled DASVID MOORE the REAL author of that forgery.
CHrist but Moroe has found a treasure trove of IDIOTS in AA. You
people can always be counted on to dance.

Only the final paragraph/sentence differs between the posts. Now, if
the anonymous post had come after Ken's own post, one could argue that
a forger merely copied his text to make him appear guilty. However, in
this case, he made the very same post AFTER forging through the
remailer. One can therefore conclude that he made both posts.

Ken's denial

Ken denies that he made the forgery of Mark Bilbo. In his defense, he
claims that the time stamp was "altered" on the remailer forgery
(click here and here and here for his claims). In the following post
he claims that it's difficult to keep his story straight, because he
didn't make the forgery (click here). In another post he states that
he has never used a remailer, and that we should thus ignore all the
evidence and take his word for it.

However, if one looks at the original forgery in Google, it can be
seen that it was replied to and quoted by others: "R?ain" and "Susan
Cohen". Not only were both of these posts time-stamped...but Susan
Cohen was posting from the same ISP (Verizon) and the same time zone
(Eastern time). It is thus easy to compare both time-stamps and
determine that Susan's post came first...and thus, as her post was a
reply to the forgery, the forgery came well before Ken's Verizon post.

It's notable that when initially confronted with this slipup, Ken's
first claim was that his Verizon post had been forged. He later
changed his story to state that the remailer forgery was sent later
with an altered time-stamp.

Conclusion

The forgery of Mark Bilbo clearly appeared on usenet first. Unless an
anonymous forger was able to guess exactly what Ken was going to post,
down to specific typos, the only logical explanation is that Ken
forged the post, forgetting that he was set up as Mark Bilbo, then
sent the same text later through his Verizon account.
