The Levites Never Claimed To Be Israel |
The Roman Curia Is not the Church.
The levitical priesthood never claimed to be Israel, yet they were chosen
to offer sacrifice to God for the whole nation of Israel.
How come the Catholic priesthood and the Roman Curia claim to be the Church
with the divine right to lay down rules and regulations for other nations?
Vatican is a state and that state must respect the right of other states
to have the Church they want, the way they want it

What the heck are you talking about?? Levi is one of the twelve tibes
of Israel, and it was only the priestly lineages within the Levite
tribe which were authorized to offer szacrifices.

I would recommend Will Durant's "Story Of Civilization" for
both answers. The answers are screamingly, excruciatingly
complicated.
"Story" is ten-plus volumes of excellent narritive history,
and even it seems to go too fast.

Ummmmm, duhhhh. Levi was a son of Israel, the 3rd son of Leah. That makes the
Levites, Israel.
