Bush fans claim that the National Guard granted him official permission to go
to Alabama to work on a Senate campaign.
Let us assume that this is correct.
At the same time Lieutenant Bush was working on this Senate campaign
[a matter of vital importance to the defense of the USA]
other Lieutenants were being killed and wounded in Vietnam.
Where did this defender of American freedom go next ?
Vietnam ?
