I'm seeing adverts for this stupid bloody course everywhere.
Looks like some book club with just one book.

It's Bible study but only studying the warm, cuddly, New Testament
bits, not the absurd, nasty, violent, pornographic Old Testament bits.

I used to have some elderly aunts who were 7th Day Adventists.
I never liked the words warm and cuddly for this sort of religion,
I prefered to think of it as treacly and smug.
