THE ATHEIST DOES NOT SEE THINGS THAT AREN'T THERE

In the age-old allegory about the emperor who had no clothes, it was said
that in this small country that virtuous people were able to the emperor's
new suit. The townsfolk wanted to be seen as virtuous so they said they
could see the emperor's new clothes. This represents most people who
believe in an invisible god. If one can believe in an invisible god, they
certainly can believe in invisible clothes, wanting to prove how virtuous
they are by acknowledging they can "see the emperor's invisible clothes.
The tailor who conned the emperor who was obviously very naive into buying
that invisible suit represents all the priest, ministers, rabbis and imams.
The little boy, like all Atheists, did not have to prove his virtue. The
little boy who perceived reality said the emperor was naked. He represents
the Atheist who by the same process of observing reality, can say there is
no God.
