uh, gas lines were only a real problem in 1973-74--

Gas lines were a problem in the Carter years.....I wuz there.
We also had odd-even gasoline days...Remember them?
Those were brought to us by none other than Jimmy Fucking Carter.
But yet, as bad as Carter was, he didn't try to ***** the country.
It's just that his ideas sucked ***** and weren't appropriate for the
times.
Now Nixon, on the other hand, was THE worst president of the modern
era.
That slimy piece of ***** ONLY thought of himself...Never what was good
for
the country.......I would gladly ***** on his grave.

Even-odd days were part of the 1973 crisis. The last ones ended in
1976.
The 1979 crisis was caused by the Iranian Revolution. Iran was
selling oil, but due to internal chaos, the exports were far below
normal. This triggered a price surge as on-hand stocks plunged.
Carter had nothing to do with the cause of the '79 crisis. This
happened before he allowed the Shah into the country.
