Feb. 25 - Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, is
furiously tapping away at his computer writing an e-mail to a Texas
legislator who's convinced that legalizing slot machines is a tax
increase. "No it isn't," Norquist says. "Legalizing slots is
the same old tax-it brings in more revenue, but it's the same
tax."
