Poor baby. Just as well it didn't live :(
When I was in high school, they showed us a slide show on human birth
defects in biology class. One was a baby (thankfully born dead) that was a
cyclops. Yikes :(

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

I also agree, but for different reasons: a paired structure, such as an
eye, would not occur in the midline unless there was a severe associated
malformation. That is an very well formed eye, on a reasonably normal
face. Not bloody likely.
It reminds me of a photo spread they ran in Hustler magazine many years
ago, of a woman with three breasts. The third breast was in the midline,
where it could not normally occur. It is not terribly unusual for women
to have extra clumps of breast tissue, and/or nipples, but they occur
along a line (called the milk line) that goes from the front of the
shoulder, down the chest and abdomen, and onto the upper thigh.
Another popular error was in a James Bond movie, where the villian had an
extra nipple. Bond, trying to impersonate the bad guy, had the nipple in
the middle. He got caught, but not because his extra nipple was in the
wrong place.

Impossible, in fact, considering that the neural tube development in
the embryo is split down the midline of the face, until quite late,
when it fuses.
(Sometimes it doesn't fuse properly causing hare-lip, or worse.)
A single eye bridging this mid-line split is simply impossible.
All this information was compressed into:
"It's a fake."

How anyone can say that is God is beyond me.
God can't even get the orbits of the planets right. They aren't perfect
circles!!! It is as if God would said something like "Hmmm....the Earth's
orbit isn't right. Let me try agin with Mars. Oh my Me! Still no
good....."

results might be more satisfactory. As it is, the bloke will never be
