Liar.
Men did, speaking through an error and contradiction-riddled man-made
document called the bible. "God" has never said anything - ever. All we
have ever heard from "god" are the assertions of braindead christian
believers, who cannot offer proof for their beliefs because there simply
ain't none.

Sorry, duke. That passage merely talks about Jesus (or "High Priest"?)
being without sin. Read what Mike said. He said that you claimed that
"only Christ was without sin". This passage you've plucked does not
prove the claim that _ONLY_ Christ is without sin.

I have to wonder, when did the NIV bible become the Catholic bible?
Or is Duke lying when he claims to be a Roman Catholic?

He probably believes he is but he seems to be a mix of old pre-Vatican II
with an off-shoot of one of the charismatic groups that sprung up.
He is very ignor... stupid on some basic church matters and clearly makes up
his own rules rather than admit ignorance or error.
I suspect he in involved in some bible class as his quotes seem to be based
on the last thing he learned.
It's interesting he quotes Hebrews as the first chapter clearly speaks of
the end times (1:2)and a seperate and created Christ (1:4), something the
RCC denies.
Denial of Mary's never sinning is a level 1 teaching and
"Level 1 Teaching is that which has bern Divine Revealed in the Word of God,
written of handed down, and that which has been solemnly judged as divinely
revealed truths.
The judgment is made by:
1) ex cathedra proclamations of the Roman Pontiff;
2) College of Bishops gathered in council;
3) infallibly proposed by the ordinary Magisterium.
This level of teaching must be believed by all the Faithful. Anyone who
denies thus teachings, OR who obstinately doubts these teachings are in
heresy and thereby automatically excommunicated.
Examples of Level 1 teaching required for belief by all the Faithful
include: the articles of faith of the Creed, the various Christological
dogmas, the various Marian dogmas, the doctrine of the institution of the
sacraments by Christ and their efficacy with regard to grace, the doctrine
of the real and substantial presence of Christ in the Eucharist, the
sacrificial nature of the eucharistic celebration, the foundation of the
Church by the will of Christ, the doctrine on the primacy and infallibility
of the Roman Pontiff, the doctrine on the existence of original sin, the
doctrine on the immortality of the spiritual soul, the immediate recompense
after death, the absence of error in the inspired sacred texts, the doctrine
on the grave immorality of direct and voluntary killing of an innocent human
being, the Immaculate Conception, and the Assumption of Mary. "
I would assume that since he denies infalibility to any but the pope he may
be in trouble because of # 3 above.

Human testimony is flawed.
"Vermon is going to kill Johnny's brother at the Savoy Theater tomorrow
night."
"Vermon is going to kill Johnny's brother at the Savoy Theater tonight.
Pass it on."
"Vermon is going to kill Johnny's mother at the Savoy Theater. Pass it on."
"Vermon's mother is going to kill Johnny tonight at the Savoy Theater.
Pass it on."
....
"There's a message for you from the Grapevine, Johnny."
"What is it?"
"Johnny and the Mothers are playing Stompit at the Savoy in Vermont
tonight."
"Vermon's going to kill my brother at the Savoy Theater tomorrow night?!"
"I didn't say that."
"No, but I know this Grapevine."
Laziness, spin, and other mutations can warp and distort the testimony
over two thousand years. I don't trust the Weather Channel to predict
tomorrow; I'm certainly not going to trust some 2,000-year-old rumor.

If the testimony handed down from the "prophets" to the text in the
Bible isn't "flawed", then why are there 17 different translations of
the Bible?
They are:
NIV, NASB, AMP, NLT, KJV, HCSB, ESV, CEV, NKJV, KJ21, ASV, WE, YLT,
Darby, WYC, and NIRV.
Which is correct? Each say something just a little differently.

If I was, I assure you the Holy Father would be enjoying my love and
sharing in
my glory right now.

And there we have it.

Duke thinks he's a god. Amazing.

No, you're lying. You clearly uttered it as a statement of fact.

And becaue God has infinite more love and glory than me to give, the Holy Father
is really basking in it now.

And will torture you if you don't believe in a very strict set of rules

"I love you, that's why I hit you." Is this an abusive husband, or God?
I can't tell nowadays.

When did God hit you?

God hits him Spiritually. (I seldom get to use that kind of theist *****
doubletalk, but it's appropriate here.)
God keeps telling him he's worthless, he's a sinner, he'll never amount to
anything, he DESERVES eternal torture for the horrible things he's done,
etc. That's called emotional abuse. It's called violence in the touchy-feely
world of today.
So the god is supposedly perpetrating violence on him. Sounds like his
comment stands.
