The New N-Word |

Apparently we now have another "n-word" we can't say-- noose. Forget
about actually tying one or threatening someone with one. Now just
saying the word apparently gets you suspended from school, even if you
say it in the context of denying that you would ever use one because it
can get you in trouble.
And then there's this comment:
"They are being punished beyond what is even near reasonable," Kim said.
It's interesting that the PC indoctrination has gone so far that even
this parent doesn't object to her child being punished for merely saying
the word "noose"-- no, she apparently thinks it's reasonable to punish
him for it, just not so harshly.

Well, it _is_ easy to ban a word. Much easier at least than successfully
combating the _thoughts_ that led to the word being used.
