The origin of jokes |
I read a book some time ago -- can't recall the name -- that looked
at the origin of jokes. I believe it was a short story, maybe written
by A. C. Clarke.
Once it was discovered that jokes were implanted in human brains by
an alien species that was experimenting on humans, the aliens removed
their artificially-imposed humor on their human subjects and the
species was humorless from then on.

:
Sounds pretty much like these aliens must have been Thetans.
And their guinea-pigs are Scientologists.
