The Philosophy of Religion - Following Jesus |
This message is ment to be a kind of an arrow of Robin Hood
at your religious heart. This message is about _following_
the Jesus of the Gospels - not how to be a hypocrite Christian.
The purpose of these Bible quotes is to show how to
live in the Kingdom of God starting even today.
[Exodus 20:13] Thou shalt not kill.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
[Matthew 5:7] Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
[Matthew 5:9] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be
called the children of God.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
[Matthew 5:20] For I say unto you, That except your
righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes
and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the
kingdom of heaven.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
[Matthew 5:21-24] Ye have heard that it was said by them of
old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill
shall be in danger of the judgment:
[22] But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with
his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the
judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca,
shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say,
Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
[23] Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar,
and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
[24] Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way;
first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
[Matthew 5:38-39] Ye have heard that it hath been said,
An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
[39] But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:
but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek,
turn to him the other also.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 5:43-45
[43] Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
[44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that
curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them
which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
[45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is
in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on
the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 6:14-15
[14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
Father will also forgive you:
[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither
will your Father forgive your trespasses.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 6:19
[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where
moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through
and steal:
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 7:1-2
[1] Judge not, that ye be not judged.
[2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged:
and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Luke 6:37
[37] Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not,
and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Jeremiah [31:31-34]
[31] Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make
a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house
of Judah:
[32] Not according to the covenant that I made with their
fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring
them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake,
although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
[33] But this shall be the covenant that I will make with
the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD,
I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in
their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
[34] And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and
every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall
all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them,
saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will
remember their sin no more.
Jesus did not say according to the Bible:
"Resist the evil" - he said:
[Matthew 5:38-39] Ye have heard that it hath been said,
An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
[39] But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:
but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek,
turn to him the other also.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 6:14-15
[14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
Father will also forgive you:
[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither
will your Father forgive your trespasses.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 18:21-35
[21] Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my
brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
[22] Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven
times: but, Until seventy times seven.
[23] Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a
certain king, which would take account of his servants.
[24] And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto
him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
[25] But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded
him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he
had, and payment to be made.
[26] The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him,
saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
[27] Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion,
and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
[28] But the same servant went out, and found one of his
fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid
hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me
that thou owest.
[29] And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought
him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
[30] And he would not: but went and cast him into prison,
till he should pay the debt.
[31] So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were
very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
[32] Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him,
O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because
thou desiredst me:
[33] Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy
fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
[34] And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the
tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
[35] So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you,
if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother
their trespasses.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 9:13
[13] But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy,
and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 26:52
[52] Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into
his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish
with the sword.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
Matthew 17:20
[20] And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief:
for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of
mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove
hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing
shall be impossible unto you
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
End note: The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5 - Matthew 7)
shows how a person who is in Kingdom of Heaven acts
taken almost literally. If you take the words of Jesus
seriously, you may have to have courage, because
Jesus tells us to forgive everything we have against
everybody. Fear is our enemy towards the Kingdom of God.

[Exodus 20:13] Thou shalt not kill.
[Exodus 23:2] Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil
And yet, Jews claim their god YHWH commanded them to "kill all that
breatheth" in an entire country in order to "possess the land" and "reap
where they have not sown" and in Palestine they are still not finished with
that assignment. Yet Jews are proud of doing a good job for YHWH. See below
the "abomination of desolation" at work.
Pastor Frank
Deuteronomy 20:16-17 But of the cities of these people, which the Lord
thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing
that breatheth. But thou shalt utterly destroy them; the Hittites, and the
Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites
as the Lord thy God has commanded thee."
Ezekiel 32:5 "I will strew your flesh upon the mountains, and fill the
valleys with your carcass. I will drench the land even to the mountains with
your flowing blood..."
Ezekiel 9:5 "Pass through the city after him, and smite; your eye shall
not spare and you shall show no pity; slay old men outright, young men and
maidens, little children and women...'"
Deut. 7:1 (KJV)When Yahweh your god has settled you in the land you're
about to occupy, and driven out many infidels before you...you're to cut
them down and exterminate them. You're to make no compromise with
them nor show them any mercy.
Joshua 10:40 - BBE So Joshua struck all the land, the hill-country, and
the South, and the lowland, and the slopes, and all their kings: he left
none remaining, but he utterly destroyed all that breathed, as God, the God
of Israel, commanded."
1 Samuel 15:3 - BBE Now go and strike Amalek, and utterly destroy all
that they have, and don't spare them; but kill both man and woman, infant
and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey."
Isaiah 13:16 - BBE Their infants also will be dashed in pieces before
their eyes. Their houses will be ransacked, and their wives raped."
Hosea 13:16 - BBE Samaria will bear her guilt; For she has rebelled
against her God. They will fall by the sword. Their infants will be dashed
in pieces, And their pregnant women will be ripped open."
Moses in Numbers 31:17-18 Now therefore kill every male among the
little ones, and kill every woman, that hath known man by lying with him.
But all the female children, that have not known man by lying with him,
keep alive for yourself.

===>And the "Christ" you claim to worship is said to be the SON of that
YHWH! His name YEHOSHUA even contains the name of "their god"!
You cannot wiggle your way out of THAT, Sheepherder, fake "pastor" Frank!
Behold a description of your "incarnation of Love":
"He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood,
and His name is called The Word of God....
Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, two-edged sword,
that with it he should strike the nations....
The rest were killed with the sword of him who sat on the horse,
the sword which came forth out of his mouth.
All the birds were filled with their flesh." (Rev. 19:13-21) -- L.

This message is about _following_
the Jesus of the Gospels - not how to be a hypocrite Christian.
You're already a hypocrite, that didn't take long, did it?
The purpose of these Bible quotes is to show how to
live in the Kingdom of God starting even today.
(Prosthetizing snipped)
Wasn't there something that the Jesus character was supposed to have said
about rendering unto Ceasar that which is Ceasar's? Doesn't that suggest one
should obey the laws of the land?
If you violate the rules of this newsgroup, you violate the teachings of
your supposed savior.
You talk about not being a hypocrite, but you violate the very scripture you
claim to follow.

They can ignore Christian posts in a.a. just as well, as we have to ignore

SONS OF GOD
Jesus in Jn:8:35-36: And the servant abideth not in the house for ever:
but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall
be free indeed.
Jesus in Jn:15:15: Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant
knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all
things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Jn:1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Rom:8:14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
of God.
Rom:8:19: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the
manifestation of the sons of God.
Phil:2:15: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God,
without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among
whom ye shine as lights in the world;
1Jn:3:1: Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us
not, because it knew him not.
1Jn:3:2: Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear
what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like
him; for we shall see him as he is.
