http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/02/02/pope.health/index.html
passionatelt discusses the Pope's health. Who gives a damn about the
thousands of St. Stephen's Tsunami victims that are homeless, hungry
and facing disease, when this god-wannabe can be prayed for instead?
Now about that praying. Do these people teally think they can change
this god's perfect plan with a selfish prayer? Why would someone even
have to pray? God is supposed to know what we want before we ask, so
what's with the asking? Does this maniacal god demand that we *beg*
before he'll give us something? Prayer doesn't work anyway - it's just
another in a long, long line of Bible myths.
Now about the Pope's lack of faith. Didn't the myth called Jesus tell
his disciples (according to the gospel liars) that this god would grant
whatever they asked for in his name? So why was it that the Pope got a
flu shot? One reason, and one reason only! It's the very same reason
that people the world over are praying for this punk right now. They
all of them have zero faith in this god of theirs.

I'll give you a clue, plabud. John 13:34.

Yeah, well if you followed that one, you wouldn't be inventing and
perpetuating lies about me on Usenet, would you now, you pathetic
hypocrite.
And once again your cowardice is noted. Your straw man here is a Bible

prayer is a proven failure and an illogical premise to begin with.

Reality tends to take the shine off the old crown, doesn't it? I have to
deal with a Catholic family every day, married into it, was annulled out
of it, but they still like me around because I have always done things
for the family and my kids binds us. However the inconsistencies in a
Catholic family are absolutely farcical, but like the Emperor's New
Clothes they will not see the nakedness.
Every day you see the things that prove that the Pope and his Bishops
have no more power than a protestant TV evangelist or a Muslim Imam.
Yet people choose to worship and follow and hang on the Pope's every
pampered breath. Jesus said it best (according to King Jame's I think),
...."none are so blind as they who will not see". Jesus's mistake was
that caught up in his "new" interpretation of religion, and ridiculed,
punished, and vilified, he saw himself and his followers as the knowig
minority and the the rest of the unbelieving world as blind. He did
not realize that once his religion took hold and became the majority
view, that the blind would be his followers.
It was a basic error in human nature. Jesus lived in a time awash in
ignorance and thought he was bringing light...but all he brought was
another bucket of ignorance.

You were challenged to provide evidence for the existence of Jesus
almost a year ago. You couldn't do it. To cover your appalling
impotence, you came up with five ***** "evidences" for the existence
of God, which I told you were not evidence and rebutted them at least
three times in three different ways.
After repeatedly lying about this "evidence", you finally admitted the
truth - that these were not five evidences but your own blind beliefs!
In short, you've been given every opportunity to support your claims
regarding your mythical worthless god and your useless mythical Jesus,
and every time you've been asked, you've run away like a limp Peter at

No, what you provided was what you claimed was 5 evidences of God, not

personal blind belief. So that's another of your lies. I'll add it to

My personal opinion is that Jesus is a combination of real person(s),
legends and writer's fiction.
Christianity appeared almost suddenly, during a change from a Republic
to Empire. Any movement which appeared in a so quick time must have a
founder. There is nothing unusual that this founder was called Jesus,
or that Jesus was Kumran's Big Teacher of Justice.
But, later he was deified, maybe under influences of Heraclus myths
(son of god capable raising from death), and miracles, angels and
talking with God are added to the story.
It is quite common that real historical persons are deified. Sidartha
Gothama Budha was atheist philosopher, and his followers later
proclaimed him as god. Something that he would never like.
Many Roman Ceasars, and Egyptian Pharaons were considered as gods too,
but it is not reason to tell that they did not exist.

Nor would it have been unusual if the founder had been called "Saul of
Tarsus". Remember, well into the 2nd century there was no man-god
Jesus - Saul's Jesus was a spirit creature. The stories about what a
man did date to long after Saul's death. By the ending of the 1st
century there was no way to tell Christian Jews from any other sect of
Jew. There was no formal writing of "Christianity" yet.
