The RCC Makes Haste Slowly |
Acting with it's customary speed, the RCC has apologized for the sacking
of Constantinople 800 years ago during the Fourth Crusade.

I imagine they will be apologizing for the Inquisition any century now.

The Pope can apologize for the fourth Crusade because it was against
Christians, but what about the other Crusades in which many thousands of
Muslims and Jews were slaughtered and their lands illegally seized, all
in the name of protecting xtianity and the 'Holy Land', which was never
their's to begin with.

Quoting from the cite:
"In his 2001 apology, John Paul said he would ask for God's
forgiveness for sins of action and omission by Roman Catholics against
Orthodox Christians, including painful memories of the Crusades such
as the April 13, 1204, sacking of Constantinople."
Sounds like the "apologies" will be to Christians. And as usual, there
is no apology, there is an appeal to the deity to forgive sins of
RC's.

That does show how much they REALLY like evolution if they have ALREADY
said it is "more than a 'theory'".

Never gonna happen until Church doctrine rejects the idea of heresy.
