Well, it's Monday, and we now have a jury for the proceedings. Shall we
begin?
Quick back story:
It is my contention that the poster known as "J Young" is also posting via
and number of other sockpuppets. The one that, for the purposes of this
exercise, is to be ruled on is a particularly vile bigot known around
UsenetLand as "IBen Getiner" <Lappcatt@AOL.com>. Several others to be
introduced as part of the evidence are forgeries of my (now former) User ID
"Loose Cannon" <looseain't@this.com>, including, but not limited to:

Mr. "Young", during the course of negotiations to establish the groundrules
for this exercise, has substantially backpedaled from his initial bold
proclamation quoted above. Those that choose may verify this by reviewing
the thread titled <"LC"'s challenge>, originated by "J" on 7/25 and
crossposted to
<alt.abortion,alt.politics.homosexuality,alt.auto.mercedes,tx.politics>.
In addition, Mr. Young has, during negotiations, played coy on the User ID
(<superasswipe@hotmail.com>), invoking the Fifth Amendment:
"I take the 5th for "superasswipe@hotmail".'

I'll let the 'jury' decide if that is something they want to consider these
facts in weighing their decision.
Mr. "Young" now does not wish to be judged on anything other than whether my
evidence shows him to be "IBen Getiner" <Lappcatt@AOL.com>. Although that is
clearly not what was initially established, I will honor that request.
I ask jurors to rule on that aspect only.
However, there is such a body of compelling evidence contained in the
numerous posts of the assorted AOL "loose cannon" forgeries, they will be
used as part of the presentations to follow.
That established, I shall proceed as follows:
In the first post, I'll provide a rather substantial list of overlapping
NNTP's in which all the above sockpuppets originate from.
You will note they all come via AOL servers. I *am* aware that these numbers
*do not* originate from or denote a single source (eg: only J Young's
computer), but offer them as significant circumstantial evidence. Futher,
you will find that, in later presentations, the alleged sockpuppets
communicate with and/or 'support' each other, sometimes from *identical
NNTP's*. Again, perhaps not conclusive evidence, but very strong
nonetheless. As always, questions and comments are encouraged from the jury.
Understanding that we all have different schedules to abide to away from
UsenetLand, all individual threads may remain active until all questions are
addressed regarding the info contained therein.
In subsequent posts, I will provide other information linking "J Young" with
"IBen" and these assorted sockpuppets. The procedure shall remain the same
(presentation, questions, comments). To avoid troll-ish disruptions, I would
ask that only the 'jurors", Mr. "Young" and Mr. "Getiner" participate
directly.
I further ask that Mr. "Getiner" stick to the topic at hand and be succint
as possible. If he becomes a sideshow, I would ask the jury to decide if it
would be best to either ignore or killfile him until this process is
complete.
I would prefer that the threads not be come a raucous 'peanut gallery'.

Although there is a virtual mountain of evidence, I will strive to be as
succint as I possibly can, while still providing as much information
linking the User ID's as I feel is necessary. In many cases, there will be
much additional information available on any given presentation theme, which
I will provide if jurors request it. I don't anticipate more than a
single-digit number of total threads for the 'presentation', lest one fears
this being an interminable process.<g>
When that's completed, I will ask the jury to decide if, beyond any
reasonable doubt, they conclude that "J Young" is indeed behind these other
entities. Simple majority.
Since one 'juror' (chosen by Mr. Young) has stated he could not be
impartial, that leaves us with 4 'jurors'. While that might be a problem in
the event of a 2/2 tie, I feel the evidence is compelling enough that that
will not be a problem. In addition, one 'juror' (Ray Fischer) has a *far*
more pressing obligation later in the week (vacation), in the event a
decision has not been reached prior to his departure, in the event of a 2/1
decision (in either direction) final tally will await that moment in which
Ray has an opportunity to cast his vote.
Post # 1 is a bit of a whopper @ 76 kb. I apologize for that.
For curious lurkers, the contents of this post consists of numerous
Usenet headers, categorized for the purpose of showing the significant
linkage between Mr. "Young", Mr. "Getiner", and the assorted AOL forgeries.
I ask only that 'jurors' quickly review the information (headers) provided,
noting the rather dramatic number of times these assorted User ID's overlap
NNTP's. All message ID's are provided, should there be any question as to
the veracity of the headers. Ultimately, this will come down to not only the
evidence provided, but to the 'juror's' read on the character and veracity
of Mr. "Young" and myself.
