Why do people put up enlightening sites like that and make them so
difficult for us guys with 1" thick glasses to read? I managed to get
through a few posts, and I probably could have copied the whole thing into
a word processor, but what's the point?

usually wear contact lenses. Do you?
I tried, but these days I have to remove my specs for closeups. Like my
computer screen at work, or proofreading music from a seated position
with the objects of my desire sitting on my desk. I have to pick them up
and put them on to move about the main room. As a result I keep losing
my glasses in different places around the office. Contacts would be a
disaster these days. Heh...
