As the glorious apostle is teaching us, Christ is the equalizer of
cultures.
Any culture where babies were offered as sacrifice to the god of a
river or
a residing spirit of a mountain, any culture where people were holding
a sacred prostitution
or anything dirty that was practiced has been cleaned by Christ.
Believers contemplating resurrection found the strengh to break away
from
some pernicious practices and come together as one in Christ.They-the
believers-
turned their back to the vain life style that they inherite from their
PAGAN ancestors
as they turn to the light of Christ.
