"Theory of Intelligent Design" |
The "theory of intelligent design" refers to the belief that
God is not intelligent enough to design a universe in which
evolution occurs.

Wrong, ID says _nothing_ about God. I would agree that ID
is about the aftermath of creation, since it occured in the past.
There is no such thing as ID let alone being a 'aftermath' or
occurring in the 'past!?' It's a religious/superstitious notion of a
creator being.
The crux is why I, as a layman, can design a better physical human
form than a creator being, be it divine or physical.
The first thing I'd do is eliminate hemorrhoids.

If that's so - then why is Pat Robertson threatening cities for
rejecting God when what was rejected was ID?

....and why the argument that "evolution is too complex so it must have been
created" is a rewording of "the Universe is too complex so it must have been
created". Bible Study 101. They're hoping no science-minded people ever went
to Sunday School as a kid.

Wrong. They mean God. And dishonestly pretend they don't.

E-prime version:
The "theory of intelligent design" refers to the belief that
God lacks enough intelligence to design a universe in which
evolution occurs.

Or, how about this:
The Theory of Intelligent Design presumes a God too stupid to design
evolution.

Intelligent Design presumes designers who were so concerned
about making humankind to be just another ape, that they had to
give that personal attention.
