....A Kansas pro-life activist says recently obtained records show that
Wichita abortionist George Tiller and other abortion providers across the
state are continuing to violate state and federal laws through their
abortion practices. Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline has obtained medical
records from two Kansas abortion clinics and found that all of the late-term
abortions being done at those facilities were for reasons other than the
exceptions provided in Kansas law. According to the state code, only two
exceptions to the Kansas ban on post-viability abortion are allowed: to save
the life of the mother or to prevent long-term damage or injury to the
mother. Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, says Kline's review of
the records has found that none of the abortions performed by Tiller and
other Kansas abortionists met those criteria. But Kansas's new state
attorney general-elect, Paul Morrison, has promised to drop the
investigation of Tiller, who -- according to Newman -- dumped thousands of
dollars into Morrison's campaign.

My post contained no statement in favor of or opposed to abortion. The
post was, however, clearly opposed to activists of any type making
unsubstantiated allegations: after all, if George Tiller (whoever that
is) is violating state and federal laws on a continual basis, surely
he would have been dragged into court.
If you want to make a charge of misconduct against someone, you are
expected to provide proof, and assertions of never-produced "records"
just won't do.

Any time you want to debate the (lack of) morality of this god of
yours, J. Young, I'm right here, waiting. But before you post another
*****, ill-informed, whiney-*****, idiotic distribe about abortion in
alt.atheism, suck on this, you hypocritical asswipe:

"The E. coli bacteria include the enteropathogenic strains that are a
major cause of childhood diarrhea in developing countries, killing
close to one million children each year due to dehydration and other
complications."
http://archive.idrc.ca/books/reports/1996/01-02e.html
"Mosquitoes that transmit the malaria parasite start biting after
sunset. In Africa, the malaria parasite accounts for at least 25% of
all childhood mortality below age five. The disease kills about 2,800
children a day in Africa, usually before they are old enough to build
up any immunity to malaria."
http://dialogue.adventist.org/articles/12_3_dyjack_e.htm
55 percent of the world population is now routinely exposed to malaria.
This disease kills up to 2 percent of Africa's children each year.

"On an international scale, acute respiratory infection ranks as the
third most frequent cause of death among children less than 5 years old
and was responsible for approximately 3.5 million deaths in 1998."
"S. pneumoniae is the leading cause of severe pneumonia worldwide in
children younger than 5 years old, causing more than 1 million deaths
in children each year."
And in recent news from the UK - children born at 21 weeks never
survive:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6149464.stm
"About 300 babies are born in the UK each year at 23 weeks. They have
a 17% survival rate, compared with 50% for those born at 25 weeks.
Figures suggest that no baby survives at 21 weeks, while only 1%
survive to leave hospital at 22 weeks."
Humans didn't create those diseases. Nope. According to **YOU**, your
god did.

Oooooh, "thousands" of dollars, ....LOL. IOWs repug theocrats got booted
out of office, and as usual, their whole "case" was smoke and mirrors.
That's the problem with a "faith-based", as opposed to a "reality-based"

BTW, in some races repugs outspent democrats 4 to 1 and still lost. I
guess people have had it with your constant propaganda spin on
everything.

You cannot prove your god exists? Well give 'Him' a 'cause' that should do it.
All it does is expose the lunacy of following imaginary deities
I knew a priest once who was dead against abortion, that is until his fourteen
year old daughter got pregnant.
They cannot show why two thousand or more young children were swept out to sea
in a tsunami without their god preventing it, so they latch on to a state of
affairs that has been going on since man could speak in simple language and
possibly longer. "Want to get rid of an unwanted baby? Go see the medicinse
man, he'll do it for yer ! " The wheel turns a full circle
