I would prefer lawmakers to swear on the Constitution more than I
would any book of fairy tales. The Constitution, after all, is what
they were elected to uphold.

As a matter of fact, according to the US Constitution, no
religious oath should be taken for a government office.
"no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to
any Office or public Trust under the United States."

You simply have no idea what religious freedom means.
Any elected official can swear or affirm, using whatever book they
want, or no book at all. Taliban-wannabees like yourself and the
tinpot dictator who started this thread want to force people to
conform to their religion.

I'm not sure who you're referring to, but it would be really hard
for me to force anyone to conform to my religion since I'm an Atheist.

Of course, you idiot. I even interviewed him on the radio, and
we talked about it. It was regularly mentioned in all media
coverage during his campaign, and probably outweighed all coverage
of things like, oh, his position on health care. He was a state
representative for four years before being elected to congress.
His religion wasn't a surprise to anyone who voted for him, or
the local American Jewish World newspaper that endorsed him.

He had lost the battle but won the war
When the generals said he couldn't fight no more
He was proud and bitter at what he'd done
So he passed it off to his favorite son
Johnee Jingo
Johnee Jingo
Jingo don't you fight for me, Jingo don't you speak for me
Jingo don't you fight for me, Jingo don't you speak for me
To the man who owns the land - We're all the same
But when his grip begins to slip, Then he'll be calling out your name
And the throne, the pulpit, and the politician
Create a thirst for power in the common man
It's a taste for blood passed off as bravery
Or just patriotism hiding bigotry
(please pardon poor editing of the lyrics)

Al Qaeda can ask for, and that there really are some sick, stupid
motherfuckers in this country. There is no evidence whatsoever Iran is
building nuclear weapons. The same cast of characters who lied us into
Iraq are trying to lie us into Iran.

You grossly overestimate the environmental damage caused by a few
hundred nukes. I blame the MSM and the usual anti-nuke alarmists.
No, I grossly overestimated your intelligence.

No, I grossly overestimated your intelligence. I was under the
delusion even a sadistic fanatic like you would have the sense to
realize what a few hundred nukes could do to the environment.
Oh, I know what a few hundred nukes could do to the environment. That
doesn't alter the fact that you have grossly overestimated it.
And I'm not the sadist here; you'd have to talk to Al Klein for that.
As for my intelligence, I've got you *way* outclassed, Sean darling. You
can't even distinguish a sober discussion of worst-case scenarios from a
demand for immediate launch of nukes.
Then I'd love to hear
what great excuse the Muslims are working on this week to justify
their extermination.

Not that I expect you to read and comprehend.
I comprehend that psychopaths like this are the best recrutiment tool
Al Qaeda can ask for,
I see that you neither read nor comprehended.

A relative of mine left me some money in a bank account in Nigeria and I
need your help to transfer it to the United States...
Well, heck, if you'll believe that Iran isn't building weapons you'll
believe *ANYTHING*.

Iraq are trying to lie us into Iran.

Your lucky Reagan is not here. The followers of islam would not surface

Who could imagine that a mild-mannered president for a great North
American country was really Superman in disguise? Taking out 1.5
billion Muslims is but a day's work for the Man of Steel. I bet he can
change the course of mighty rivers, bend steel with his bare hands, and
brainwash millions of morons like you doing nothing but drooling into
his morning oatmeal.

It may have taken more than day Sean...the cleanup would definately
need to be a multiple super hero coalition...Throw in ***** Cheneys hat
and Henry Kissingers...and suddenly disposal of the bodies becomes an
economical boom for Americas funeral directors.
Wish we could add yours to the pile. : )

Alright, I'll admit it would probably take more than a day to wipe out
the Muslim world. But you've proven I'm right that Reagan can brainwash
millions of morons doing little more than drooling in his oatmeal.

You're kidding, right? Reagan traded arms to Iran, supported Saddam
Hussein, sold advanced weapons to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan... Reagan
propped up anyone, regardless of religion, who would tow his
anti-Soviet line.

Yes...I am half kidding... Reagan deserves credit for winning the arms
race at the expense of todays national security. Although I admire his
ability to play poker with all of lives at stake...I must also
acknowledge his continuing legacy.

I would prefer lawmakers to swear on the Constitution more than I
would any book of fairy tales. The Constitution, after all, is what
they were elected to uphold.
Bush has rendered it a fairy tale.

Is that what happened in Lebanon?
No, when the Marine barracks blew up, Reagan cut and ran. If Bush had
been President, we would still be dodging truck bombs in Beirut.
