straws.

Sceince looks back assuming certain facts and discarding others as there
materialistc philosophy demands. World views dictate the interpretation of
the facts, not the facts themselves. Facts are reality, interpretations are
either true or false.

Science looks back to discover the facts, religion looks back clutching

at

straws.

Sceince looks back assuming certain facts and discarding others as there
materialistc philosophy demands.

Point is, science is searching for the facts. Religion is dismissing
everything.
World views dictate the interpretation of

the facts, not the facts themselves. Facts are reality, interpretations

are

either true or false.

Plenty of facts are surfacing, religion is only based on interpretation as
there are no facts to back any of it up.
I'd rather chance an educated opinion rather then choose an ignorant one.

I wolud rather look at the facts of reality and let reason guide my

not the ramblings of a particular worldview.

That there's an external reality? Yeah, I suppose that's a leap.

and discarding others as there
materialistc philosophy demands.

No facts are discarded.

World views dictate the interpretation of
the facts, not the facts themselves.

Granted.

Facts are reality, interpretations are
either true or false.

Granted.
The whole point of the scientific method is to minimize the necessity for
interpretation.

Explain why Galileo was persecuted for asking them to look through his
telescope at the Moon?
Why was Bacon put in prison for demonstrating how to make a rainbow?
Why are observers castigated and vilified by the religious merely for
reporting what they see? Why are they vilified, scorned castigated and
wilfully misrepresented for trying to explain what they see?
Why do they attack the messengers and not the message?

Interpretations, my little f[r]iend, are the real of religion.

Indeed. The religionist says "God's work is a wonder." The scientist
says "I wonder how that works."
