Object: To IAAH. Step 2 in my proof: LC posts from Galesburg IL
This one is easy. Here are five of hundreds of posts from LC that have
a Galeburg IP. (Look it up at www.ip2location.com)
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.politics.homosexuality/msg/ec03012b8fa7d0d8?dmode=source
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.abortion/msg/6e6e16fa9fb87647?dmode=source
http://groups.google.com/group/talk.abortion/msg/148efc03f04039b8?dmode=source
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.music.beatles/msg/b43e9e352a10a094?dmode=source
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.abortion/msg/80d9452fa433cb25?dmode=source
Step 3 will take a little more time to compile. I'll do it when I have
time.

Herei's what your suggested IP locator returned for 209.248.30.19:
UNITED STATES
ILLINOIS
GALESBURG
40.9493 -90.3773 61401 -06:00
Net Speed ISP Domain
MIDWEST INTERNET
EARTHLINK.NET
That's Midwest Internet, not Metbel Communications. Oopsey!
So how far is Galesburg, Illinois from Robertsdale, Alabama, Mr.
Geography?

It's a fair drive...Galesburg is south of the Quad Cities (and I've been by
there, back in the summer of 1995), and Robertsdale is midway between Mobile
and Pensacola. Must be a fun drive down I-74, I-57, I-24, and I-65...

Speaking of hops and paths, did you notice that "JD" did not include
the path information in any of the "headers" he posted?

At least there'd be an occasional White Castle down through Illinois (and in
the Nashville area).

I'm shocked. ;-)

For the weary traveler on the go. Oops, wrong kind of "go".

You mean, after all these years, Usenet has the ability to shock you?
Must be CRS creeping up on you. ;-)

Now you have to get them frozen. (So do we, unless we make the drive to
Nashville, or the Cities. ;-)

After eighteen years, I can still be shocked...but I take precautions by
wearing electrician's gloves. ;-)
