To Plonk and to be a Plonker |
In Britain, one of the longest running TV series, was
called 'Only Fools and Horses'
One of the *many linguistic cliche's it pacipitated was 'Plonker'
A 'Plonker' is just someone who is behaving in a Stupid,
Silly or Foolish way.
And the secondary definition was a Willy or Penis.
The juxterposition was, just so funny somtimes.
So, when on the Newsgroups some one says usually in CAPITALS:
I am going to PLONK you.
I always think, is she/he a Plonker!

Errrmm. Not exactly.
PLONK, is the sound a troll, etc. makes when it hits the bottom of
your sin-bin/kill file.
Nothing more sinister than that.
