I also did get an e-mail a few months ago saying that they were in kahootz
(sp?) with people from this newsgroup. And I am also aware that some of his
friends read this news group and I also recognized a certain family member from
the EAC picture gallery. I met some of them when I went on vacation. I also
think a certain one of my family members whom I have not spoken to in a long,
long time is also reading this newsgroup.
It's not cool to mess with people at their jobs especially to mess with
someone's mind and to think of that person as nothing but entertainment and
refer to them as a "tv"( sociopathy).I still don't see how I deserved all of
that. I would have never let anyone be treated that way. I don't care what they
did. It's basic respect. If there's a problem that has made you furious and
raging with anger, confront it. Here's how : You walk up to the person and say,
" Why they hell did you do or say this or that?You're pissing me off! What the
hell is the matter with you?"
I guess this all falls under the assumption that Jennifer does not count as a
person and should not be treated like one. I happen to disagree with you.
To someone: Again I don't know how or why he thinks my mother thinks you did
something to me when I was a kid or why he is saying it. I don't really know
what she thinks;it has not been spoken about in over a decade--I did not tell
her anything because you did not do anything. Please don't believe what you
hear from him because he said that he wanted to teach me a lesson about lying.(
I tried to teach him a lesson about messing with me behind my back...that
didn't seem to work) One way to do that would be to lie to people that know me
in order to get them to turn against me. So if I am right, could you please
knock it off.

You seem to be obsessing about the thoughts of people you feel dependent

Or rather, tales of one who claims to be an ex-atheist. Those are
fairly common in a.a. Jennifer is, of course, indignant at the
suggestion that she could be like the common liars for Christ, but the
common liars for Christ get indignant when you doubt their sincerity
too.

It's hard to improve on the stirring words of her own testimony:

That is the entirety of her description of her conversion experience.
The reason she gives for not going into further detail is that the
experience was private. (This from the person who uses a.a like her
own personal diary.)
I used to think Jennifer was a compulsive liar. I now grant the
possibility that may have been too harsh. Lately I've been thinking
she might simply be unable to distinguish fact from fiction.

She believes we all are secretly in love with her and stalk her and
spend all day and all night thinking about her.
Some people make fun of her, but I think she is to be pittied and
ignored.
why AA? or was that just the work of random chance?
She began posting here as an atheist - who then rediscovered her faith
- gave back her "a.a number" and made a big deal about that and then
continued to hang out here getting weirder and weirder.
I think i started to take notice of her in late 1999/ early 2000 -
after she had already "returned to the faith".
There were lots of threads about "why are atheists so mean and nasty".
Do an advanced google groups search on alt.atheism author:Skypher
dates to june 2000 and have a read of a few threads to get a flavour
of what has gone down in the past.
(It's fun seeing posts by myself and others from back then - and the
folks that are not around anymore - I get quite nostalgic....)
awww I will google it, lol.....tales of an ex-atheist. I can't believe she
gave back her number. did she happen to rediscover her faith when she
rediscovered life without her meds??
Nothing that deep. She started acting weird, didn't like our
reactions, created a possibly non-existent boyfriend, didn't
like our reaction to that, decided that John Boatwright was a spiffy
guy, didn't like our reaction to that, became a deist, didn't like our
reaction to that and just about threatened to become a Christian.
Then, she became a Christian. She simply got wackier and
wackier, as time went by. Most people killfile her whenever she
comes back to alt.atheism. She definitely has mental problems.
