Darwin.
Unfortunatly, I missed most of it. from the parts I did catch, Cremo
expouses "devolution"- we are the result of higher bings devolving Of course
that doesn't explain why the more "primative" homonids are all older found
and dated ot more ancient layers. I would suspect that we'd see more
headlines like, "Homo Ergaster Births on the Uprise Over Past Century,
Studies Show".
And of course there was a bit of "Mainstream science don't like what I have
to say, therefore, they are afraid of what I have to say" (not an exact
quote), but he implied that since they don't like what he has to say, it's
because he's right, and they are wrong, and are out to protect their
"paragim".
George mostly "Uh huh'ed" and "interesting" to what Cremo was blathering,
and a lot of tossing in questions of how Cremo's fantasy history fit in with
other myths, but I think there's a lot of "eye rolling" going on behind the
microphone whenever George has some of the nut-cases on the show.

Maybe.
But it turned out that I couldn't really listen to much of it,
so I might have missed the skepticism from George. What
I did catch was George talking about how it seemed to
him that ancient technology was even more advanced than
our own.

I'm not saying George is a true skeptic in that sense, and I also missed a
lot of the show, but some times I do wonder if he doesn't pander to some of
his guests just to keep the show rolling.
But to the point of "advanced ancient technology", One of the things I
alsways found telling about anacronisms is that they never find anything
that hasn't already been invented. How come nobody has found a fossil
digital watch or camera in the '30's, for example? Or for that matter,
something that has not been invented or designed yet?
"Hey George, look what I found in this here rock. It looks like a ray-gun."
"ZOTT!"
"Hey, George, it still works! George? George? Gee, I wonder where Geroge
went and where that pile of ashes came from?"

That's very true.
"Ancient technology" thus far consist of bullet holes
(but no bullets), a spark plug & light bulbs.
Similar to this would be all the "historical" UFO evidence,
which nobody appears to have identified as alien space
craft before the modern UFO craze began.
How come nobody has found a fossil digital watch or
camera in the '30's, for example?
I'm sure they'd argue that, back in the 1930s, they wouldn't
have realized that it was a watch or a camera.
What they would conveniently ignore is the fact that they
would have had to recognize that the object was obviously
man-made.
You don't need to know how a broken & dirty digital
clock was used to know that it isn't a natural object.
And, yes, I am certain that George doesn't take most
(if not all) of his guests too seriously. But the same
is true for Art Bell, who usually does manage to at least
acknowledge.... shall we say, "Issues"?

Didn't that happen to Art Bell one time? Fortunately, they found the

Art is a ham... and that ain't a bad thing. What surprises
me is that George can also ham it up, like his birthday
phone call from Marilyn Monroe. But then he had to go
that extra step and introduce the women playing Marilyn.
I'm sorry, but anyone in the listening audience who
couldn't figure out it was a joke desrves to go through
life thinking they heard the ghost of Marilyn Monroe
on the radio.
