That's not a transitional fossil. That is a non-evolved fossil and now
there are TWO gaps that have to be filled. Duh! ;-b

They'll say, "That's not a transition, it was created by god fully
formed just like that, at the same time it created Adam and Eve." And
then, if with a little luck transitionals are found before and/or after
it, they'll say, "Those aren't transitions, they were created by god
fully formed just like that, at the same time it created Adam and Eve."
Which is handy for them, that "goddidit" argument; prevents having to
actually think.
I knew a woman who insisted dinosaurs never existed, and that the
various fossils found were planted by god as a trick. Boy howdy, the
lengths some people will go to protecting their beliefs against facts
is amazing.
