Simon and Andrew went fishing, but had no luck. Jesus of Nazareth
was peering at them from shrubbery along the shore.
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers
of men." Matthew 4:18-19
Isn't this evidence that Jesus encouraged them to seek out
only male companions?

jesus was a fucking homo anyway, he wore a dress (christian nuts call it a
robe),
he wore sandals and he always kept the company of 12 men.
jesus always had twelve men around him, I guess he gave really good blowjobs

I suppose it depends what they intended to use for bait.

Once upon a time in alt.atheism, dear sweet Tough Tonto (Chemo@subby.com)
made the light shine upon us with this:
Simon and Andrew went fishing, but had no luck. Jesus of Nazareth
was peering at them from shrubbery along the shore.
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers
of men." Matthew 4:18-19
Then Simon turned to Jesus and said, "OK, but you're cleaning them."

Sure! I can see him now, walking along the shore, saying "Hi, Sailor!"
to every guy he meets.
