Hmm well if jesus existed he couldnt of been born in december. and if jesus
is god then maybe he's just really pissed that people celebrate his birthday
on the wrong day. of course his wrath would of been better directed towards
north america and europe as we're primarily christian. Of course it could
simply be because he's irritated that Indonesia isn't worshipping him
properly which is a bit old testament of him.

No doubt the faithful will thank this "god" for sparing them. I'll bet
there are more than a few Christians over here gloating that it hit
Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists while sparing the Christians in the area.

Sad news. It has also hit India. The casuality figure is increasing.

Nice one 'God'

Have you seen "The One" movie? This is not a only universe. There are
many universes. We also exist in those universes. If someone is dead in
this universe, it does not mean that he/she is indeed dead.
BTW, have you ever figured out if length of radius of circle keeps
decreasing, how long does it takes for radius to be "zero"?
Sigh!

Just because it's in a movie doesn't mean it's true.

That depends on how fast is decreases, and what it started as.

Indeed circa 2000 according to the BBC with total casualties in the
11,000 range now.

No though I have read science fiction on similar and other themes.

Depends on rate of change of radius and whether the change is linear

No, you don't. I'll explain. Good luck is evidence of God's existence.
Bad luck is also evidence of God's existence. There is *no* evidence of
God's non-existence, ergo, the chance of God not existing is zero! Got

No I think I have got it.
Abstracting the logic from the example substituting X (where X
is anything which cannot be proved not to exist, such as god) for
'god'
There is *no* evidence of X's non existence, ergo, the chance of X
not existing is zero!
Thus if some X has no chance of not existing then X exists.
Simplifying:
There is no evidence X does not exist therefore X exists
Is this your argument? (where X=god as described above)
There is no evidence that the following gods do not exist therefore
they all exist:
Zeuss
Odin
Thor
any god ever though up!
I do hope you are not an atheist with regard to belief in
these gods which you have just demonstrated by you
logic to exist.
Anything I care to invent out of my mind will also qualify
if I cannot prove it does not exist.
Hmm lets see, what can my feeble imagination conjure up?
How about the great all powerful Wizard Mobeius who controls
your thoughts by waving his wand. He sees through your eyes
what you see.
I have no evidence Mobeius does not exist and no evidence
he controls your thoughts therefore he exists and he
controls your thoughts - this is your logic remember!
Ah yes:How about Harry Potter? There is no evidence
whatsoever Harry Potter does not exist therefore he exists
Sherlock Holmes exists
Dracula exist.
The might mongul ruler of the universe exists
Darth Vader exist as does 'The Force'
Unicorns, Tooth faries, pixies, fairies, Santa Clause
None of these can be proved not to exist therefore they exist.
Does anybody sense anything strange about this logic?

Well, if you're going to use logic, all bets are off. You are dealing
with people who think the following is "logical": a) I believe in God, b)
I cannot consider the possibility that "a" might be wrong, ergo, c) any
and all evidence and logic must come to a conclusion that supports premise
"a", regardless of how tortured, convoluted, and flawed the process that
gets you there.
NOW do you understand?

No I think I have got it.

Abstracting the logic from the example substituting X (where X is anything
which cannot be proved not to exist, such as god) for 'god'

There is *no* evidence of X's non existence, ergo, the chance of X not
existing is zero!
Thus if some X has no chance of not existing then X exists.

Simplifying:
There is no evidence X does not exist therefore X exists

Is this your argument? (where X=god as described above)

There is no evidence that the following gods do not exist therefore they
all exist:
Zeuss
Odin
Thor
any god ever though up!

I do hope you are not an atheist with regard to belief in these gods which
you have just demonstrated by you logic to exist.

Anything I care to invent out of my mind will also qualify if I cannot
prove it does not exist.

Hmm lets see, what can my feeble imagination conjure up?

How about the great all powerful Wizard Mobeius who controls your thoughts
by waving his wand. He sees through your eyes what you see.

I have no evidence Mobeius does not exist and no evidence he controls
your thoughts therefore he exists and he controls your thoughts - this is
your logic remember!

Ah yes:How about Harry Potter? There is no evidence whatsoever Harry
Potter does not exist therefore he exists Sherlock Holmes exists
Dracula exist.
The might mongul ruler of the universe exists Darth Vader exist as does
'The Force' Unicorns, Tooth faries, pixies, fairies, Santa Clause None of
these can be proved not to exist therefore they exist.

Sorry, I forgot to mention at the top it was Christian logic I was
following not normal logic and I did not realise you was using
it ironically. That kind Irony does not work here it looks to be from
a genuine Christian being serious. Indeed it has come from Christians
being serious.
Yes I understand :-)

Strange => unusual, no, nothing, it's the same old theist BS.
Strange => 'broken', yes, of course, it's the same...
