Saw Valierie Plame Wilson tonight. I had her over for
dinner and.... well... no. I saw her at a book signing.
But I did raise my hand and she took my question, so
that's almost like having her over for dinner....
Now this is funny, get this: Much of her book is
redacted. The publisher according to her) decided
to leave in the redaction, rather than re-writing the
book around everything they weren't allowed to publish.
Oh. According to Plame -- and I have absolutely no
reason to doubt her -- is entirely punative. All the
blacked out text, that is. It's all just yet another example
of the war the Bush administration launches against
anyone that dares question them.
I'd have to say she look better & older in person than
in the media. She looks better because, usually, most
of her images in the media try to make her out to be
a model, and she just isn't one. I mean, this is a woman
with young twins! She's not only older than any cover
girl, but she doesn't lead the life of a model.
Oh. This did not take place at a small, independent
