Whew, it's a good thing that Cho attened Bible Study classes instead
of reading things like Darwin or Dawkins. I mean, he could have been
made into a monster!
Yep, that vaunted Christian moral superiority

When Cho started at Virginia Tech, his mother took his dormitory mates
to one side to explain his character and asked them to help. "She was
worried that he spent all his time in his room, lost in a world of
video games," the paper quoted the PASTOR as saying. "[Cho] came to
BIBLE STUDIES for a couple of years, but rarely spoke and never got
along with the other youths."

Look at the previous sentence:
"His mother, a part-time waitress, attended the Korean church in
Centreville, where she implored the pastor to help her son."
The bible studies were before college. There's no evidence that he had any
recent religious involvement. He was as much of a christian as the many
de-converted former christians in this newsgroup.

Fair enough. The more I read through the paragraph, the more I think
you may have a point on this.

To be fair, it was awkwardly written - or maybe poorly edited. But a simple
application of Occam's Razor would have cleared things up quickly
The problem is that you have been simply reacting, not thinking. The other
problem is that you and many others here automatically assume that I am some
sort of Christian who is here to try to prove the existence of God and
convert you folks to good Chistians. That's rubbish. All I do is set people
straight about many issues regarding the world of religious conservatives.
You and most of your fellow atheists here have a great deal at stake in
always blaming religion, especially Christianity, for just about anything
and everything, whereas I have little at stake personally. I have far more
experience with Evangelicalism than the vast majority of journalists,
pundits, and folks posting in various Internet forums. Next time you or
anyone else wants to challenge me, try to remember just who you're dealing
with.

Stop being so dishonest.

Well, I guess you did. I do appreciate that you took the time to reread and
rethink the paragraph.
