Object: Was John Paul II Euthanized?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20070921/wl_time/wasjohnpauliieuthanized
In a provocative article, an Italian medical professor argues that
Pope John Paul II didn't just simply slip away as his weakness and
illness overtook him in April 2005. Intensive care specialist Dr. Lina
Pavanelli has concluded that the ailing Pope's April 2 death was
caused by what the Catholic Church itself would consider euthanasia.
She bases this conclusion on her medical expertise and her own
observations of the ailing pontiff on television, as well as press
reports and a subsequent book by John Paul's personal physician. The
failure to insert a feeding tube into the patient until just a few
days before he died accelerated John Paul's death, Pavanelli
concludes. Moreover, Pavanelli says she believes that the Pope's
doctors dutifully explained the situation to him, and thus she
surmises that it was the pontiff himself who likely refused the
feeding tube after he'd been twice rushed to the hospital in February
and March. Catholics are enjoined to pursue all means to prolong life.

Note how the theists change their behavior, not due to who they are,
but due to fear of the after-world. If they could get away with łsin˛

But WHAT logic and reasoning?

Besides, in the real world we donąt believe something exists just

Yes you do. You deny the existence of God totally lacking evidence.

Do you deny the existence of Thor since there is no evidence to show
that he exists?

If he were consistent, which he is not, he would say Thor exists. He
is just another simple minded moron who believes that since you canąt
prove a negative, that proves God exists. Of course, it canąt be
proven that I am not God, so that makes me God - to him.

That's fine, thanks for taking the risk. I'm not sure I could tolerate
it if he were worshipping me.

Nope, he's a spade, so I call him a spade.

Not what I meant. You seem afraid of dying.

I'm afraid of not spending all eternity in the loving arms of my God. You
appear unafraid of spending all eternity in the torment of your god satan.
