It's interesting how people with knowledge of the human brain
structure have no problem with evolution. Google for evolving brain

Very interesting stuff, I was surprised when one calculation says that
we are all descendants of 8,000 humans that left Africa. (4,000 men,
assumed 4,000 women)
Kinda makes us a bit inbred doesn't it? HA!

I watched a program about gene detectives (was a while ago on
Discovery so I have no idea to its veracity) tracing a gene from
Africa along the southern route to Australia. The gene was identified
to have a defect around southern India that carried through to
Australia, effectively disproving the Aboriginal belief that they were
the ancestors of modern man. All using present day inhabitants of the
areas.
Fascinating things these genes.

Reading around, I think I should substitute DNA for genes in my first

I wish I did. I've got a few $ to pay back here and there so I'll
just believe that somewhere waaaaaay back there, we were all one tribe
of humans (well, whatever we were then) and we split off and evolved
differently based on climate/geography. That's enough for me!

I'm not so sure caucasians "descended from" Africans. I am no expert
so I could be wrong but it might be that we (whites/blacks) have a
common ancestor and that ancestor DID live in Africa. Similar to how
we didn't evolve from monkeys but had a common ancestor that branched
off and one branch... monkey ... one... human.
Not sure tho. Just jumpin in.
