WE NEED LEGALIZED REGULATED PROSTITUTION! |
Arresting streetwalkers and pimp-drug pushers is an absolute must since
the streetwalkers are most often under aged runaways who need help and
pimps are thugs who get them hooked on drugs and force them into slavery
to pay for it. But pimps and streetwalkers do not represent the
profession as it would be if it were legal. The prohibition of the
entire profession is not only a waist of tax money and police manpower,
it keeps streetwalking a profitable tax free business.
The availabilitiy of licenced, regulated sex services would divert the
buyers away from streetwalkers while diverting cash away from the
pimp-drug pushers and into tax collection agencies. Streetwalkers would
be replaced by competent, professional adult entertainers who could
offer their services out of the security and privacy of their own
offices where they and there customers would benefit from state mandated
STD screening and the consistent use of prophylactics and hygiene
products.
Even I would consider paying for the services of a real professional
under those conditions. A fulfilling sex life has major health benefits
and a regulated service provider would be the safest no-strings option
for anyone interested.
