I too see the light!! I used to think it was absurd to offer credence
to such things by acknowledging them. Now though, I can see that it
can be very entertaining. :-)

First of all, I *would* say welcome, but you aren't. Not in the
least. The majority of us used to be theists, mainly Christian before
we realized that it was really that stupid.
Now, since you seem to be sincere, I shall proceed to rip apart your

*Chuckle* Other than the lighting level, what had changed? The house
at 11 Maple still had the kids toys in front, and the Chevy parked at

the rest of humanity just happen to be adapted to daylight.
I used to hit work as a driver at 0400. I'm very familiar with the
differences. Doesn't change the reality we see.
Now, there's a rather crude picture of zebra with a thought balloon
saying "Like I painted these stripes on myself?!" Sorry, but simple
evolution did the job. Go to Africa. Zebras vanish in the tall
grass. Seriously, you can barely see them. The stripes mimic the
pattern of light and shadow. You see the same thing on the jaguars of
Central and South America. Except under the rain forest canopy, you
get dappled sunlight. They evolved coats that are spotted.

Isn't there one somewhere along the lines of, "Blessed are the
ignorant, for their is the wisdom of Heaven"? I could _swear_ there
is. If there isn't, there most certainly _should_ be. The truly
yummy thing about it would be that few of them would likely be capable
of grasping the back-handed nature of such a proverb.
