In Iraq today, at least 31 Iraqis were killed or found dead and
another 26 wounded in violent attacks.
Also, three GIs and one Briton were killed in separate incidents;
another two Britons were wounded.
Three U.S. airmen were killed by a car bomb in Baghdad.
Meanwhile, a roadside bomb went off near a U.S. patrol
in Iskandariyah, but no casualties were reported there.
Also, the British Ministry of Defense announced that one British
soldier
died and two more were injured in a non-combat-related traffic accident
this morning.
U.S forces, using tear gas, also dispersed a demonstration in
Nahrawan;
two people suffered from asphyxia.
Near al Shaab stadium in Baghdad, senior Education Ministry official,
Habib al-Shimiri, survived a roadside bomb blast that killed his two
bodyguards.
