Once upon a time in alt.atheism, dear sweet RobH (Rob@aol.com) made the
light shine upon us with this:
http://www.kansasmorons.com/
Great site. The conjecture is made, however, that ID is based on
fundamentalism, Young Earth Creationism to be exact. Maybe I missed
something, but don't the proponents of Intelligent Design claim that
evolution was set in motion by their god? And that fossil dating and all
are correct, that the days of creation are not *literal* days?

Whatever science comes up with is their evidence to whoever believes science
stuff. If you don't believe all the science stuff, you don't need ID to help
you get saved.

The "real Intelligent Design " is the warping of reality to support their
claims. For example, contending that the
Bible story of creation is not literal. That the seven days is not man's
days but gods days that could be billions of years.
Religious fanatics constantly inventing scenarios that fit their beliefs
instead of basing their beliefs on real objective evidence.
It's a form of mental masturbation.
