Dunno? Is that the one that forbids dancing? If so,
I'd say Calvin must have been a white man.

Nah, that's baptists that forbid dancing. Calvinism is basically
predetermanism.
Q: Why don't baptists allow sex while standing up?
A: It looks too much like dancing.

What are my thoughts on Calvinism?
Like Thomas Jefferson, I don't think much of Calvin or his religion.
"His [Calvin's] religion was demonism. If ever a man worshiped a
false god, he did. The being described in his five points is ... a
demon of malignant spirit. It would be more pardonable to believe in
no God at all, than to blaspheme him by the atrocious attributes of
Calvin."
-- Thomas Jefferson, Works, 1829 edition
vol. 4, p. 322, quoted from Franklin Steiner

How does this quote grab you?
"We may rest assured that God would never have suffered any
infants to be slain except those who were already damned and
predestined for eternal death."
--John Calvin
Which was worse, John Calvin or Martin Luther?
"If we wish to wash our hands of the Jews' blasphemy
and not share in their guilt, we have to part company
with them. They must be driven from our country."
--Martin Luther (On the Jews and Their Lies)
"He who hears this name [God] from a Jew must inform the
authorities, or else throw sow dung at him when he sees him and
chase him away."
--Martin Luther (On the Jews and Their Lies)
Tell a lie for the church?
"What harm would it do, if a man told a good strong lie for the
sake of the good and for the Christian church...a lie out of
necessity, a useful lie, a helpful lie, such lies would not be
against God, he would accept them."
--Martin Luther (1483 -- 1546)
Calvin and Luther: Two of a kind -- cruel and sadistic
fundamentalist Christians.

The subject of meatloaf clearly inspires strong reactions, especially among
tuna lovers. Here in Cleveburg, it's been known to incite fist fights &
brawls, usually started by Hobbesians.

(sigh) Because they're people and incapable of synthetic reasoning. Of
courshe, the obvious compromise would be tuna loaf, but this has gained
little support among the meatloaf lovers, at least, around here. I don't
think they can adapt to the idea of catsup on tuna............

I've got the looks, but Calvin didn't. In fact, hookers were ready to
suck him off at the drop of a hat, but didn't want to do me.. He was
about 56 at the time, beer belly, bald bearded... and I was about 32. I
asked one why and she said that I was too young, would wear her ***** out
