What Book Should I Buy? |
Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon by Daniel C. Dennett
or
The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins
Any suggestions?

I would recommend The God Delusion over Breaking the Spell. These books
are more focused on the underlying mechanisms by which religions develop
and flourish. Dawkins' book is truly a classic.
If you haven't read them, I also recommend The End of Faith by Sam
Harris and Kingdom Coming by Michelle Goldberg. These two books are more
focused on the damage of religion on people and society, Goldberg's book
in particular will scare the hell out of you.

I just finished Dawkins and I highly recommend it. I haven't read Dennet
yet, but it's on my list. You might also want to consider "Letter to a
Christian Nation" by Sam Harris.
