A damm good movie because it had a very good story and cast. Fay Wray
hated the big monkey, but no one could have or will do it better.

And it still brings a tear to my eye <sniff>
However, for that sort of thing, you really have to see "The Son of Kong"
<sob!>
Don't even get me started on the original "Mighty Joe Young" ;)

I always thought the story was that King Kong fucked her
and she exploded.
By the way, does anyone remember doing the time warp?

700 showings at approx $5 each. That $3500.
A lot of money to spend on that particular movie.

Except that as a cast member of Erotic Nightmares, I got into about
450 of those for free.
Another hundred or so where at a theatre that charged $2 for the
midnight movie.
And the first few dozen were in the late seventies and early
eighties.. when it was my parent's money anyway.

For a movie of it's time, the special effects and cinematography were
outstanding. I agree that Fay was perfect for the part.
