stolen list to another fundy who has put it on his website. Plus,
the second idiot says that it's okay, since Jason gave him
written permission! Since I never gave Jason permission to steal
my list, the second guy's excuse is more than a bit iffy. In fact,
the second guy is just as much a thief as Jason is.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I think this is doable.
1. "Dr" Jason Gastrich is a self-professed public figure
2. I don't think there is anything wrong with one person calling
another asking that their name not be use without permission.
3. I agree that if 2200 of us do it at the same time would be bad, but
I don't thnk 2200 phone calls spread out to be something like 3 a day
(for the next 700 days) contacting a public figure is way out of the
bounds, provided that the phone calls are polite and made during a
reasonable time of day. Jason Gastrich can't claim privacy consider
how much of a publicity hound he has been during the California recall
election.

another asking that their name not be use without permission.
3. I agree that if 2200 of us do it at the same time would be bad, but
I don't thnk 2200 phone calls spread out to be something like 3 a day
(for the next 700 days) contacting a public figure is way out of the
bounds, provided that the phone calls are polite and made during a
reasonable time of day. Jason Gastrich can't claim privacy consider
how much of a publicity hound he has been during the California recall
election.
Besides, technically, one isn't calling Jason in a personal capacity
but JCSM, which is a legal entity in its own right. That Jason is the
sole employee or representative of that organisation is neither here
nor there.

If Jason has an 800 number maybe we should get the 888 equivalent and put

Association.
A woman answered and I thought she was talking off-line before announcing
herself. Then I realized she was talking to "me" and giving explicit
instructions on what to do.

Actually there is his wife, a paid employee.
Possibly his daughter too? He says that his
own salary is capped but I wonder if his wifes
salary is capped? Can anyone else see the
similarity with Tom Delay?
It would be interesting to know what percentage
of the money that is donated to JCSM.org ends
up on the Gastrich family tax return.
