Let's see, one flag symbolizes a neighbor that has been at peace with
the Republic for over 150 years, and whose people and culture have
immeasurably enriched our country.
The other flag symbolizes a regime whose only reason of existence was
to enslave other Americans and whose violence have killed more
Americans than any other country.

Because the Union could equip more men. Because they had a larger
economy. Which is why the South was begging for aid from France and
Britain. Britain was *this* close to recognizing the Confederacy and
giving military aid, but something happened.
The Battle of Gettysburg. British officers observing the battle
concluded that the Confederate cause was hopeless, and England would
best be served by staying neutral.

You did not find anything that says the North outproduced the South, because
it is not what happened.
Production and manpower are vital. Especially in 19th Century
warfare. sheer weight of numbers was the deciding factor in the Civil
War. The CSA simply couldn't defend in all the places the Union could
attack.
That is pretty much what happened.
Because the Union could equip more men. Because they had a larger
economy.
The Confederate States weren't living in a military dictatorship.
Which is why the South was begging for aid from France and
Britain.
To fend off the militaristic North.
Britain was *this* close to recognizing the Confederacy and
giving military aid, but something happened.
Why would they want to come to the USA to defend it after it was taken away
from them?
The Battle of Gettysburg. British officers observing the battle
concluded that the Confederate cause was hopeless, and England would
best be served by staying neutral.
Outnumbered 3 to 1 and without the Union fortifications did make it much
harder, but the will was evidently stronger on the Confederate side.
But, before I say that is the total truth, do you know where there are any
casuality counts to see who lost more men?
600,000 is the total I have read. Just wondering how many the South lost and
how many the North lost.
Why do you think "Gone with the Wind" was the best film of all time to date
and book out of Hollywood and the publishing houses for so long if it still
isn't?
