Um, Not trying to slam the man here... just curious. I always hear it
spoken, but don't know the history or meaning of the H.
Any Ideas? (er... I mean, and GOOD ideas) :-)

As an eddicated guess, I'd say it stands for "Holy". Probably started
as "Holy Jesus Christ!", mutated into "Jesus Holy Christ!", then got
abbreviated.

Just a guess, but it sounds good.
There are a lot of websites that cite the possible origin from the Greek
letter "eta" which can resemble an H, or the Latin phrase "Jesus Hominum
Salvator", but I seriously doubt anything that intelligent was behind it
all. I mean, the phrase rolls off the tongue like "y'all come back now, ya
hear?"
