Why do they hoot and holler about lack of evidence, yet fail to
produce it, themselves?
Why do they complain about flaws, when their own reasoning has them,
themselves?
Why do they answer challenges with, "Whatever"? Or snip out vital
questions? Or misread things?
Why do they spend a significant
portion of time online discussing,
GOD
when they don't even believe there
is one?!?

I dunno. I guess it's the lack of evidence for a magical sky
magic-making-doodie-thing in the first place that makes me fail to produce

I'm not quite sure what's so flawed about looking at the evidence and
drawing conclusions. B/c if I'm wrong about my methods, then I open the door
to every other thing that exists only in peoples' imagination. And the scary
thing is, objective evidence to the contrary doesn't seem acceptable, b/c I
deal in reality and you don't, so...er, please don't firebomb my house b/c
your imaginary friend whispers in your ear, is all I am saying.

Really you should be proving that "no evidence exists at all for the
existence of God." That is your assertion. But unfortunately the evidence
exists, you simply don't like it. Logically then; If to your mind God exists
ONLY because there is evidence that God exists, then definitely God exists.
If God definitely exists then no further "proofs" need be given.
Contrariwise speaking: If God ONLY exists based on evidence that you
personally approve of, understand or have handy, then God can never exist.
For certainly if the evidence sways you, suddenly God exists and you are no
longer an atheist. But since no one has brought evidence of God's existence
that you will accept, apparently to your mind this "proves" God does not
exist.
Now we have a real conundrum because apparently God exists and does not
exist at the same time in your world view!
What if God exists "without physical evidence?" For instance, I have no real
physical evidence that pink elephants exist on some distant planet. Does
this make them unreal or nonexistent? Of course not. My ignorance of the
existence of a thing does not mean it is not manifest somewhere. The same
goes for God. Just because you can't feel God, know God, appreciate God,
believe in God or understand God, just because you get no messages from God
or any evidence for God's existence certainly does not mean no God exists.
(Maybe it just means God doesn't like you? Who knows?) And asking a few
people on these NGs for "proof" of God's existence that you will finally
"approve" by some authority which you have yet to give anyone, certainly
does not mean God does not exist. All it means is this: You will not accept
God exists. Which makes you an atheist.
Once you believe God exists, you would of course no longer be an atheist. So
you are actually trying to get other people to help you not be an atheist? I
didn't think so. You are trying to keep your atheism. God appreciates this
and will help you in every way to be what you want to be!
Now of course neither God nor I expect you to believe that. Because we want
you to continue in your atheism. So please just forget I said anything and
go on doubting all evidence for God. It seems to be what makes you feel
good.

Maybe it's because it's shoved down our throats every day of our lives?
Maybe it's because our money says "In God We Trust"?
Maybe it's because our President doesn't consider us citizens even if we
are legally so?
Maybe it's because our children are force-fed this ***** in our public
schools?
Since the words "Under God" were inserted into our pledge of allegiance
in the mid 1950s this country has been spiralling into fantasyland. On
the reality side, the national defecit has reached new highs. This is a
cause for concern to those who realize that our only immortality is
cradled in our offspring. Our offspring are headed for extremely hard
times. And my grandchildren or great-grandchildren will more than likely
see a complete collapse of the world's economy when the fossil fuel
supply is depleted. But if you believe in "God", it doesn't matter,
because this world, the one the god created, matters not. It's the NEXT
life that matters. Yeah right. The one where you have to grovel in
person.
