Wheaton College Dances After 143 years |
http://www.cnn.com/2003/EDUCATION/11/14/wheaton.dance.ap/index.html
reveals that a 143 year old ban on dancing has finally been lifted at
Wheaton Christian college, Wheaton, Illinois, USA.
This was the college, if I recall, that was featured in the TV series
about evolution, where students were discussing the pros and cons of
accepting the scientifically establihsed fact of evolution vs. Bible
mythology. Why they figured they could get a handle on reality at a
college that is so antiquated in its thinking is another great mystery
of religion.

I considered going to Wheaton. However, I ended up going to a less
liberal college in the middle of nowhere south-central OH.

I don't know about MacDowell, but it's the alma mater of Billy Graham and
Wes Craven.

Now there's an interesting car pool to be in.
