When Will it be Enough? |
WHEN WILL IT BE ENOUGH?
Newton Joseph
What would have to happen to let us know we have enough religion, morality
and
that elusive spirituality that we hear so much about? Who is going to tell
us we have
reached the barometer that reads we are moral enough? If we were all moral,
spiritual and
religious enough, who would professional God men blame for the ills of our
society? Then
you have to ask, do these professional ministers, priests, and rabbis really
want us to be
100% moral? Would not their jobs be superfluous? Don't they have a vested
interest in
telling us, we need more religion and spirituality to make us moral?
the concept we need more religion to make us moral is analogous to the
donkey and
the carrot story. The donkey will never, ever reach the carrot. And with the
proliferation
Of new churches, it seems we will never, ever have enough religion. Morality
and spirituality
For the masses will be as elusive as the carrot is for the donkey. To
understand the
Christian religion, one would have to understand magic and the slight of
hand trick. The
very foundation of morality in our culture is the Catholic Church so they
claim (whether one is Catholic or not). The paradox of Catholic morality is
the church is hypocritical and cold blooded.
Throughout history, they have aligned themselves with every Fascist
murderous government. World War II has pulled down the curtain to expose the
Vatican's support of Hitler and protection of Nazis fleeing Europe. By the
well documented book. The Vatican's Holocaust by Avro Manhattan, the
Catholic Church gave dispensations to those who killed Eastern Orthodox who
did not convert to Roman Catholicism, this is not anti-Catholic rhetoric.
This is a well-documented book with photos, letters, names and places. If
the Catholic Church is Going to hold themselves up as the standard of
morality, we could all become cold-blooded Murders with impunity.
