Whenever some of you get disturbed by my posts, always remember, you do not pay me to write for you. |
People sometimes complain my posts are too long. or title is too
long.
Too long?
Too long for who?
They are just right for me.
I write for me first and you second.
For me, my posts are just the right size.
I tell such critics that complain about the length or content of my
posts the same thing: "If they are too long for you then don't read
them."
I can assure such critics that restructuring one's life towards a goal
of successful living is much harder than reading a few pages.
In our own writings we are mapping out our new life, so we must take
care to produce a map that is accurate and true.
Do we ever complain a road map is too long?
We accept how the land lays and the choice of whether to proceed or
not is our only rational choice.
But to complain that the map is too long and work to artificially
change and falsify the map will lead to a failed journey.
Whenever some of you get disturbed by my posts, always remember, you
do not pay me to write for you.
I am not obligated in any way to write what you want to hear.
If you want a topic written about in a certain way, then you write it
or hire a writer to write for you.
I write what I perceive is the best for my own practice and also try
to make this writing applicable to others for the possibility of
instilling peace within them.
But I am under NO obligation to please you in any way with what I
write.
Expectations are pre-planned resentments my friends.

Hooray to all of the posters that answered this. I could not have said
it better myself. I am in agreement with all. I believe in these days
of cell phones and Internet/Usenet usage people have forgotten their
manners.

Hmmm, good point but I was more indicating a general hooray. It seems

My job is to just plant seeds Mark. As I write it also helps me out.
Goggle shows there are 2000+ members here. I can't force anyone to
read a post, but I exercises my right to write..And as I 'write right'
it reinforces right actions within me.

money and is an intrusion upon our personal space, and you have been
told that it is resented, so you have no courtesy towards anybody,
indeed, you do not seem to understand the concept.
You are just one of a crowd of people who only post to alt.atheism in
order to misrepresent atheists and vilify us. We are all sick of it,
and you need to understand that your presence in this newsgroup is
something that everybody else finds unpleasant, furthermore, it would
be of great benefit to you to understand why they do. Then you will
have leaned something useful.

I misrepresent no one. If I have done so in the past, then point it
out and I will apologize and correct the mistake.
But the fact are this - the truth is ugly sometime and people don't
like to see it.
Once the atheist at our forum offer something positive to discuss I
will do that. Until that time I make use of the tools at hand.
The bible tells us in Phillipians 4:11 "For I have learned in whatever
situation I find myself to be content. I am experienced in living low
and I know what it is to have abundance. I have learned how to cope
with every circumstance - how to eat well or go hungry, to be well
provided for or to do without."
While not perfect advice for all occasions, it is good to be mindful
of this concept of contentment whether religious minded or atheist.
As such, if atheists only offer negatives on our forum, I will discuss
those negatives and promote 'doing the opposite' of such atheists if
one desires to be at peace.

Sure I know why everyone hates me. You only like militant atheists
here.
I am an agnostic freethinker. I never claimed to be an atheist.
I lean about 85% towards atheism.
But, if I was an atheist I would still be a spiritual atheist.
It is your right to hate me and it is my right to post as I please.
