I am reading God's Debris by Scott Adams. One idea in it is that religions
are like road maps that show routes to a destination. Each roadmap shows a
different route. The ones that work for people get passed on to the next
person. The maps that don't work fade into history.

He did, quite clearly throughout the history of the jews culminating in

coming of Christ, He proved this through 3 sets of evidence. Fulfilled
prophecy unlike any other in history from hundreds of years before,

unlike any in recorded history and predicting & accomplishing his own
ressurection. How much more do you need!!

He tolerates them because only a non critical mind would accept them. He
allows us freewill and has given us a mind to discover truth. If we wish

believe a lie, that is our choice.

It would seem there is NO REAL God. The evidence is rather strong that

did not create man but that man created Gods.

No, the evidence is quite strong that we would not exist unless something

presently
holding it in its current existence. This has nothing to do with a first
cause argument because the universe needs a sustaining cause right now. It
one thing to say something called gravity, the strong force or whatever is
holding us together but what are these but Gods intelligent design in
action.

All limited things or things that begin need a cause to begin & continue,l

simple fact of observation.
The universe had a beginning and is limited, therefore it had a cause.

No effect can be greater then its originating cause, another simple fact

observation. If there are intelligent effects then the cause must have
intelligence. If we are limited then we have limited intelligence. Since

cause must be unlimited, it must have unlimited intelligence, each

to its own nature.

If the effect can do good or evil, another simple observation and since

as such is simply the lack of good, the cause must be goodness itself

it must be unlimited good and can not be evil.

God created man to enjoy God forever. Since all mankind enjoy love, mercy,
joy, kindness, courage, etc, etc, they are enjoying God who is all these
things whether they like it or not. The only difference between a

and others is that they are giving credit wher credit is do. This is

worship, giving worth to that which is of value.

Ther is nothing worse then one who would use the gift and not honor the
giver.
